The best way to get involved is to VOTE this November 8th and every election, especially local ones. Our voices are never stronger than in our local communities. It’s where we spend most of our time; it’s where we work, live, study, and play. Local resources and laws have more impact on our daily lives than what come our of the state or US capitals.
It’s never been easier to register and to vote. Visit SCVotes.gov > Voters for everything you need to know. Below is some useful information for residents of Dorchester County.
- Online Voter Registration – It only requires a valid S.C. Driver’s License or DMV ID.
- Check My Voter Registration – Can’t find your voter registration card? No problem. Look up your voter info online.
- Update My Voter Registration – Have you moved recently? Make sure your voter information is current and accurate.
- Get My Sample Ballot – Check out a sample ballot before heading to the polls to make voting quick and easy.
- Find My Polling Place – Many polling places have moved. Be sure you know where you need to go to vote.
- Early Voting & Absentee Voting – Deployed military? Can’t make it to the polls November 8th? You can still vote!
